Why live printing
450 events taught us one thing: nobody remembers a giveaway table. They remember watching their shirt come off the press — still warm — and wearing it out the door.
Six production methods
All speeds are per station — we scale by adding stations and trained crew. Need 250/hr? We bring three presses.

Vibrant, opaque prints with the loudest visual punch. Crew prints live in front of guests — plates swap in seconds.

Photo-quality artwork pressed on-site in seconds — intricate detail, gradients, no color limits.

Stitched branding that signals quality the moment a guest picks it up. The take-home everyone keeps.

Full color printed directly onto rigid surfaces — bottles, tumblers, tech. Guests watch it customized live.

Precision marking on metal, wood, leather, acrylic. The “keeping this forever” giveaway tier.

All-over photographic printing on polyester — no edges, no boundaries. The tool when the artwork is the product.

The run of show
Scope, artwork, blanks, and floor layout — locked before anyone arrives. One producer owns your event end to end.

Crew arrives early, builds the footprint, tests every machine, and stages inventory. White-label ready — we match your brand.

Guests pick a design, watch it printed in front of them, and walk away wearing it. The line becomes the show.

We break down clean and deliver counts, photos, and next-step notes. You get the data; your guests keep the merch.

What the booth data says
More leads captured vs. standard giveaway booths
Longer average dwell time at the booth
More guests sharing the moment on social
Averages from client-reported data across live printing activations at trade shows and brand events, 2024–2026, compared against the same clients’ non-printing booths. View proof and case studies or compare trade show booth printing options.
Sustainability built in
Most events order 1,000 shirts and end up with 300 collecting dust in a warehouse — and a CMO asking why. We bring blank inventory and print on demand only.

Merch Troop specializes in live event printing and on-site printing activations for brands that want to stand out. Whether you're running a trade show printing station, a custom event merchandise bar at a product launch, or a live screen printing experience at a music festival, we bring the full production to your venue.
Our event activation services include screen printing, DTF transfers, embroidery, UV DTF, laser engraving, and sublimation — all performed live in front of your guests. We operate nationwide as a full-service event merch printing company, from major convention centers to beachside brand pop-ups, corporate campuses, and on-demand printing for conferences.
What makes us different: guests don't just pick up a pre-made shirt. They watch it get created in real time. That interaction drives 2.5x longer booth dwell time, 2.4x more leads captured, and creates organic social content with a takeaway attendees actually keep. It's not a giveaway table — it's a live printing booth that becomes the centerpiece of your event.

Questions, answered
Everything. Equipment, crew, blanks, ink, setup, teardown, and on-site production. We bring the full operation — you just give us the space and power.
Ideally 3–4 weeks. We've pulled off activations in under a week with rush blank sourcing — possible, but premium logistics get itemized in the quote. The sooner you reach out, the more options we have for blanks and artwork.
Yes — we produce events across the U.S. Crew and gear travel from our Orange County base; travel and per-diem are itemized in the quote (non-local fee starts at $900 outside the OC/LA/SD area, scales with crew size and event length).
Throughput is method-specific. Screen printing peaks at 80–120/hr per station; DTF runs 60–90/hr; UV DTF 40–60/hr; sublimation 30–50/hr; laser 15–30/hr; embroidery 5–10/hr per head (multi-head setups push to 20–40/hr). We size station count and crew to your expected guest count.
Absolutely. We can set up a curated menu of designs, or let guests customize elements live. Both approaches work great for engagement.
Event date, location, expected attendance, and what kind of items you want produced. We'll handle the rest and come back with a full proposal.
